Mr. Jones has over 35 years experience as a specialist in Crisis Management, Organizational Development and Management Training and Education. Prior to founding Management 2000, Inc (M2000), Mr. Jones taught management and communications in multiple industries as an education specialist and director of management training. Since founding M2000 in 1990, the core focus of the company has been to assist executive management of companies with the development and implementation of crisis management, strategic turnaround, and growth management strategies. As such, Mr. Jones has direct experience at the senior executive level with such industries as health care and technology as well as in physical and cyber security. Mr. Jones has served as an interim president of companies in various manufacturing and service company’s.
In 1998 Mr. Jones was appointed to the Executive MBA Advisory Council at Loyola Marymount University and was subsequently asked to join the Faculty as an Adjunct Professor in its Executive MBA Program. His course-work focus is on Crisis Management and Stabilization, Growth Management, and Implementation of Strategy.
Anne J. Lee, MBA
Vice President, Financial Strategy
Ms. Lee’s areas of expertise include capital and business planning, strategic financial advisory services and organizational performance through operational and strategic planning. She is a seasoned professional with a primary focus on capital budgeting and project risk analysis, financial forecasting, working capital management and business valuation.
Ms. Lee has over 10 years of experience in finance with a primary responsibility for financial planning and decisions support functions for medium and large corporations. She has served as an expert consultant for executives on financial planning and analysis, capital budgeting and forecasting, and project management for key operating initiatives of strategic importance. Ms. Lee has held positions as Director of Finance, Business Analysis, and Decisions Support, and has served as the co-chair of a Finance Steering Committee. Her career is highlighted by significant improvements to financial performance by driving greater cost and capital efficiency through benchmarking, productivity analysis, cost benefit analysis.
Ms. Lee holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University. She also holds a Certificate Award in Accounting from UCLA and is a member of Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Dean Calvo, MBA
Vice President - Management/Organizational Strategy
Mr. Calvo possesses Chief Executive level experience in strategy, operations, human resources, governmental & private research grant administration, capital construction projects, and corporate governance. Mr. Calvo’s skill sets include multi-unit management at the COO level in the retail, restaurant/hospitality, and manufacturing environments as well as enterprise level finance and capital budgeting, business planning, project management, process mapping, and commercial space design & construction.
Mr. Calvo has over twenty years of management experience including serving as Executive Director/CEO of Cal State L.A. University Auxiliary Services Inc., a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit Corporation. Mr. Calvo has also served as Associate Executive Director, Chief Operations Officer of The University Corporation at CSU Northridge. He has worked extensively in the retail product and restaurant industry on brand concepts for Starbucks, El Pollo Loco, Burger King, Subway, Carl’s Jr., Jamba Juice and McDonald’s Corporation.
Mr. Calvo specializes in creating strategic business plans that unlock market potential and stabilize or increase financial return. Product repositioning, brand enhancement, value engineering, alliance creation, and mergers & acquisition are illustrative of preferred techniques. He also possesses the financial skill, organizational techniques, operational experience, and emotional intelligence to aid companies in crisis.

Derek Van Longshore, MBA
Vice President, Marketing and Business Development Strategy
Mr. Longshore’s specialty is the analysis of current trends and utilizing them in the creation and implementation of marketing programs that are cutting edge and profitable. He has developed and implemented large scale, marketing, advertising and public relations campaigns for Fortune 500 companies. His expertise lies in developing tactical marketing strategies to support short and long-term company financial goals. He began his career managing the customer service unit of American Express Card Member Services. Eventually moving into the Card Member Promotions unit.
Mr. Longshore has served as Director of Marketing and Business Development for Washington Mutual Bank where he was responsible for all marketing activities for the bank’s ยง1031 Exchange division. His duties encompassed the development of the sales and marketing strategy, internal and external corporate communications, and sales support functions. Additionally he worked on the development and management of the divisions’ brand identity, collateral development, the placements of national advertising (print, radio, television, etc.,) and the alignment with other companies for joint business ventures.
As National Manager of Marketing and Public Relations for ARAMARK Corporation, Mr. Longshore developed and implemented national marketing and public relations campaigns executed locally. During his tenure ARAMARK Corporation moved from the number 3 spot to the number 1 spot on the Fortune 500 top service organizations list.
Mr. Longshore received his B.A. in Communications from New York University and his MBA from Loyola Marymount University, his special skills include the development of innovative sales and marketing strategies utilizing all forms of media and public relations tactics.
Peter Yacoub, MBA
Vice President, Financial Services Strategy
With over 14 years experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Yacoub is a specialist in positioning corporations for capital infusion. Excelling in the area of financial services management, Mr. Yacoub has counseled business owners in a multitude of industries on financing business ventures, obtaining lines of credit and managing business finances.
Mr. Yacoub continues to serve as Senior Relationship Manager-Vice President of Wachovia’s Business Banking Group. In this role, he is responsible for directing and managing a portfolio of business clientele with revenues ranging from $5 million to $50 million.
Mr. Yacoub’s strong foundation in commercial lending was honed by working with major lending institutions such as Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of America in a variety of leadership positions. Experienced in management, operations, credit underwriting, and managing real estate portfolios, his experience with Southern California lending practices uniquely qualifies him to assist M2000 clients with their financial services needs.
Mr. Yacoub received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from DeVry University at and his MBA from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.
