The Company

Formed originally in 1990 under the name of Crisis Management Company, its expressed purpose was saving companies and jobs. The mainstay of the business had been what in management is called "operational turnarounds". CMC became involved in the startup and growth needs of companies as CMC itself grew and eventually changed its name in the early 90's to Management 2000, Inc. (M2000) to better reflect the expanding needs of its clients. Management 2000's experience in recognizing and correcting business crisis situations put it in a uniquely qualified position to redirect companies away from trouble as they plan for future success. We've seen both sides.

The People

All of the staff of M2000 has been at the level of Owner, President, VP Manufacturing, Chief Financial Officer, Director - Management Training or VP Sales and Marketing of a company. There are no junior personnel at M2000 - only seasoned executives. They have all sat in the executive seat and know intimately the concerns that an owner takes home at night. We employ executives under a unique dual expertise criteria, that is, all executives must have multiple areas of skilled disciplines. It is not uncommon to have a VP of Manufacturing with both CPA and MBA credentials helping our clients. Commonly, two M2000 executives whose combined multiple skills match the specific needs of the client company are chosen to work together.

The Process

Thanks to our dual expertise employment criteria, M2000 executives are able to examine a company from the front door to the back. Our process dictates complete due diligence organizationally, financially and operationally. We look at the company as a whole and then determine from that view what will assure reaching specific and measurable goals. Of critical importance is that M2000 executives are capable of achieving sought-after results in a matter of weeks, not years. M2000 understands that many of today's companies do not have the luxury of time, nor in many instances cash, to change or validate its direction. Finally, and key to our clients’ success, is that we develop an exhaustive action plan that M2000 executives implement.
